FORMATION OF COMPANIES

We will assess you about the pros and cons of this choice and all the legal and tax matters of this option.

Our team takes care of the entire  start- up procedures obtaining the Company’s name, arranging the public signature of the constitution deed in the notary and submitting the necessary registration forms to the Tax Office and Social Security Department. We will also obtain a Tax Identification Code for the company that will enable it to operate in national territory and be identified by public administrations and third parties. If the Company wishes to trade within the EU, we will register it in the VIES.

SELF-EMPLOYED (Autónomos)

If you are an expat and want to start  your own business and become registered as a self-employed autonomo, our team of experts will provide you with legal, tax, bookkeeping and social security support and advice.

 

We handle the entire start- up proceduress submitting the necessary registration forms to the Tax Agency Office and Social Security Department. Once the Autonomo is registered we will take care of the bookkeeping and filing all the quarterly and annual taxes.

BOOKEEPING and TAX OBLIGATIONS

Once the company or the self-employed is registered in the tax department, SPATEX will prepare the bookkeeping process as  per Spanish regulations and calculate and submit quarterly and annual taxes.

 

In the case of companies, our team will also prepare and submit the Annual Accounts to the Mercantile Registry. The financial statements must be filed within one month from their approval by the shareholders and by no longer than 30 of July of the following year.

We will also keep you up to date with any changes concerning accountancy and tax laws that may affect you.

PAYROLLS AND SOCIAL SECURITY

If the company or the self-employed has employees, we take care of registering it in the Social Security Department to be able to hire.

​

We will asses you about the best options in working contracts and about the particularities of the Spanish system. Our legal team will also advise you on the dismissal process. We have a specialized department that handles the contracts, dismissals, payrolls and all the necessary communications with the Spanish social security department.
